But there's more truth to that actually and i wanted to speak out about it:

These other people's oc have also become a key component in my worldbuilding and oc relationships, so, whether i've casually talked how their interactions with my ocs would go in some situations and how they'd thrive in my Castelia AU, over time they've still shaped my slice-of-life blog and cast in a way that's canon. Yes, you heard correctly. not as much as a main character would do though, for example they don't cause and steer arcs that would define a permanent outcome but as side characters, so they would still pretty much take part of these arcs: my own guys would still learn from them and their background, adopt new behaviors, and be influenced by them in some decisions in life that are still important.

I'm curious about opinions on this so if you have one i'd love if you shared it!
