love that we’re having a divorce tournament with a group that’s literally called divorce quartet in the running. good luck to everyone else these four are reinventing divorce court drama like you can’t even imagine
The levels of divorce witnessed truly were insane if I'm being honest.
Also side note: it's funny you bring up the whole "divorce competition with a group named divorce quartet" thing because for round two, the mods actively chose to use divorce quartet's names on their poll in order to reduce bias (but only in the actual poll itself, Mod Pip did not want to fit four names into a single box on the visual bracket).
(And people will still bring up that they're literally called divorce quartet but hey at least we tried)

Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway is a British variety show with the boys we know and love as both hosts and executive producers. Running since 2002 with a new series on the way with Ant’s reintroduction, lets celebrate by looking back at some lost media from the show. Today’s topic is the Saturday Night Takeaway app, and boy oh boy is this one a mystery. More under the cut. (X)
To start off, this app is completely defunct. No working versions exist as of this post. A download for the 2015 version for android phones still exist, but attempting to install the app results in an error; most likely because of the in app features. (More on this later).
This app has quite the odd story. It was originally released for iOS only in 2013; the app had basic features compared to its later version. This version let players pick and decide who was going to win for that week; Ant, or dec. (as shown in the video) After picking, a player had the option to play Studio Rush, a simple runner game starring Ant & Dec, with a short cutesy comic book introduction to the game. These we’re the only features on this app at the time. There was also a Facebook version of the game. (The URL still exists on Facebook, but the game does not load in, and no archived versions of the game exist.) On Creativepool, this is what was said about the game by the developers (Naked Penguin Boy):
“Naked Penguin Boy was commissioned by ITV to develop an iOS application for the launch of Ant and Dec's new show, the Saturday Night Takeaway.
Design and build within a limited timeframe proved the primary challenge throughout development of the project - with the show set for an early February launch, Naked Penguin Boy's priority remained app submission to Apple's ecosystem in order to ensure the fastest turnaround time possible.
An animated intro sets the scene, where players are tasked with helping the boys get to the studio on time for their show. Score points by making the boys jump, somersault, slide under and dodge obstacles to collect as many stars as possible. Collect Morrisons pickups for bonus points. Players can also compete against other users via the global Leaderboard. An integrated Poll also allows players to vote for their favourite star throughout the course of the show!

Unfortunately, I could not find a download for the 2013 version. (Others might be able to find it; I don’t own any iOS products so I cannot connect to iTunes. An archive link exists for the download page but i’m unsure if it still works.) That’s about it with the 2013 version.Â
On February 19th, 2015, the app was re-released, this time for both iOS and Android devices, and made by Made By Many in partnership with ITV . It is unknown whether or not the Facebook version of Studio Run was still available. This time, the app included behind the scenes of the show and clips from previous broadcasts, photos, exclusive content and news as well as polls and quizzes with the chance to win up to £1,000, according to the official Ant & Dec website. There was also a game called Match & More, but only one screenshot of the game exists.Â
It’s also unknown if Studio Run still exists in the 2015 version, as there is no mention of it on any article I could find. (Very unlikely, as it was made by a different developer this time around.) The app was connected to ITV and required WiFi to function (It was constantly being updated with content every week) and thus cannot work anymore if the servers do not exist. Â
Some more screenshots of the app:
That about concludes this post. I hope you enjoyed!
No they are, they just keep getting remarried. Trying to get more individual divorces than everyone else combined... But does that make them the biggest divorced energy??? Only tumblr will tell.
Truly only tumblr (specifically the subsection of tumblr that loves divorce in the traffic smp series) will tell who is the most divorced
(mod calx here) they really do try to marry each other and divorce each other every single season!! (except lim life) that is a whole lot of divorce if you ask me and it should count for something
my argument for people who think they aren't divorced is last life THEY PUT UP A FENCE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HOUSE
(back to mod pj) as you can see, mod calx is a bit biased (though we all are to a degree)

The funniest thing about round one is most people saying "please vote them they are so divorced" You have a few people saying that Etho and Bdubs aren't divorced then a bunch of the Rancher enjoyers on this website being like "They are not divorced and never will be" and they are right.
It truly felt like every single reblog on the Desert Duo v. Ranchers poll was just "Ranchers Are Not Divorced" which admittedly was pretty funny. Unfortunate for the two people who nominated Ranchers.
(quick mod calx interlude- bdubs and etho are SO DIVORCED people who say they aren't haven't watched enough of them in the life series imo)
ok flower husbands may divorced but their divorce was nice neat they moved on nicely. the occasional threat sure, but mostly they are fine. boat boys are constantly fighting each other, they are on edge every time they talk. if murder was legal theyd kill each other. they do try to kill each other. no one here embodies the divorce seflie more.
vote boat boys. they did not scream about a cow to be treated like this
From Mod Calx in our discord group chat:
"If murder was legal they'd kill each other" anon this is a death game
(we do appreciate the boat boys propaganda though that was just a funny line)
If the divorce quartet doesn’t win I’ll lose it. THEY HAVE DIVORCE IN THE NAME!!! They were sooo divorced that it’s in their name and they are still divorced to this day. C!Martyn and C!Cleo still haven’t shown to make up yet (in terms of them being friends in the life series) and C!Pearl is still being friends/enemies with C!Scott and C!Cleo. C! Scar and C!Grian get back together like every other season. They are the couple that says they broke up and will never get back together and get back together the week after. THEY ARE NOT DIVORCED IF THEY KEEP GETTING BACK TOGETHER!
Posting this ask right after reblogging someone's desert duo propaganda which creates net zero propaganda (also I wanted to get this out before round 3 ended)
