Sometimes I wonder if undertale/deltarune kin homesickness is sort of like being a goner. If somewhere, there's a version of my world that doesn't have me in it, because I ended up here in this world instead. And maybe every now and then, my friends see my shape in greyscale at the corner of their eye, but they don't recognize me, and when they turn to look at me fully I disappear like I was only a trick of the light. Maybe the story does go on without me.
