How do ENTJs reconcile their extroverted nature with the fact that most people are generally illogical and inefficient?
Personally, I understand where you’re coming from. This is one of the biggest problems I face as an ENTJ. The simplest answer would be to try and associate yourself with people who are more like you- efficient and logical. However, this is not always practical, especially because when you get two logical and efficient people in the same room… there is usually some clashing.
So sometimes we, quite frankly, just have to learn to deal with it. There will always be inefficient and illogical people, but think of it like this; they may be very, very annoying, but they do give YOU your chance to shine. As one of the most efficient and logical personalities, in these situations ENTJ’s like us know what’s going on and, let’s face it, we’re usually right. And although some people might not listen to us, if you find people who will, then you can really use your abilities well.Â
You may have to be the efficient and logical one… but is that really so bad? We are naturally leaders anyway, so I encourage you to use such opportunities to your advantage. Take charge and do things YOUR way. Embrace it, and you’ll probably find alot of people want to hear what you have to say.
Thanks for the ask! - Mod Lindsey
