#mod fleet

hi! i just wanted to let you know that the name fleet has kind of fallen out of favour with me, so i’ll be going by fennec on here from now on. i’ll be tagging all my posts with #mod fennec, but if you’re going through backlogs or w/e and see a “fleet”, that was me as well

maybe they’d be demigender(s), and maybe not. but it’s not contradictory; you can be nb and still have some connection to a binary gender.

there is no one set of pronouns that all demigirls use, so really it’s just whatever pronouns you feel most comfortable with. :)

i’d also like to ask…are you saying that you think you’re a demigirl because you were afab so you feel like that has to be part of your identity (it doesn’t) or because you actually identify partially as a girl? i’m not trying to invalidate you, just trying to say that your asab doesn’t have to have anything at all to do with your gender (though of course it’s also okay if it does)

yeah, omnigender is essentially the same thing. polygender or multigender would be better… there’s also maxigender, which i believe encompasses all the genders available to you and excludes the race-/culture-/nd-specific ones

it is a blog to help folks learn, but we’re people, too. and that kind of language can be really triggering, for both our followers and us (the mods)… especially when we’ve posted about that kind of stuff several times already trying to educate people and explain why “biologically x”/“born x” language is outdated and harmful

and you’re way out of line with that last bit. of course we want all of our followers to be safe and healthy and happy, and we will do whatever we can to help them be that way. but this is really not an acceptable response to being called out (or, in this case, asked repeatedly to stop using certain terminology)…

that is a thing, yeah! some people call it situational genderfluid or absorgender (a gender that’s heavily influenced by the people around you. e.g., an absorgender person would feel more feminine when surrounded by women, or more masculine when surrounded by men, etc.). lots of people’s genders are affected by their environments, so you’re not alone in that

i’m assuming you meant dysphoria and not dysmorphia…but nope! all you need to id as a demigirl is to id as a demigirl, tbh. what you’re describing does sound like it could be demigirl, so yeah. here and here are some posts about gender dysphoria vs gender euphoria
