I got a friend into Detective Grimoire recently and he's decided to start from the very beginning (The Flash Game) and play all of them in order.
We just finished Secret of the Swamp (He streams em for me to watch along when he plays :3c) and it's been a delightful time~
But can I just say that one of my favorite sorta-running-gags is Grimoire's detective hat that EVERYBODY gave him shit about not having in the flash game, and that he loses immediately during the start of SotS. The flash game isn't like, the best, clearly, but it's so crucial to this joke specifically that I was glad my friend decided to play it anyways, cause now he can understand this One Joke that I just personally find deeply amusing.
Do you know how happy I was when they mentioned that fuck ass hat again in MM?? It's hysterical to me every time.
