I had a WONDERFUL time celebrating #internationalknitinpublicday Saturday with @mallofamerica and @knitcrochetstores! It was truly fantastic to see so many knitters and crocheters all gathered in one location creating together for a great cause. I was also delightfully surprised by how many people with zero prior knitting or crochet experience stopped at the rotunda to learn how to knit or crochet from Knit and Crochet Stores’ experts! 💙 Special thanks to @visitcrayolamoa for providing Crayola markers in many shades of blue for the kids (and the kids at heart) to color & create blue hats of their own while their parents knit & crocheted. Big thanks to @lionbrandyarn for sponsoring the event and providing their fabulous Hometown USA chunky blue yarn. I even had the opportunity to try @madebylondon ‘s awesome new crochet hooks!
