🌙 I love her "relationship" with Twilight, as sad as it was. Before Twi discovered friendship she saw the other fillies in her life as acquaintances if anything. But not friends. That's not how Moony saw her though.

She saw Twilight as being her best friend. She looked up too and admired her so much. She wanted to be just like her. She even got the exact same haircut as Twilight just so she could look similar to her.

Twilight never noticed nor cared for Moondancer. To her, she was no more then a dusty book unworthy of even taking off of the shelf. She didn't even remember her existence after she left Cantorlot. That's how little she ment to her.

✨ The second thing I love about Moondancer, is once again her being a parallel to Twilight. She's what Twi would have become if she hadn't discovered the importance and magic of friendship.

⭐ Lastly, I like how after they made up with each other, they didn't become besties. While yes, they forgave one another, and still remain friends. They didn't become huge parts of each others lives.

Moondancer instead moved on from her obsession with Twilight and began making new friends with others who cared for her. I loved seeing her self growth and improvement.
