She passed away yesterday, early Thursday morning. While my family and I are trying to navigate the next stages, I want to say how grateful I am to all of our extended family and friends who have been doing what they can to help us during this time. I know that God has been watching over us and that she is in a better place outside of the pain she has been going through. She doesn't have to feel that anymore.

Can't really place my feelings at the moment. I'm okay, but I feel like I'll continue to be going up and down for a bit longer. I haven't been able to actually sit and draw something solid, but I will be lurking about somewhere.

Letting you know now - I had to read this question over a few times to figure out the mind-blowing part. However, as I ran through many thinky thoughts, I've come up with a few examples (in no particular order:

The Holdo Maneuver. It helps answer the question about what happens if one giant battleship is sent hurtling straight into another giant battleship, no bluffing?

The distinct nod in that one The Clone Wars episode to C-3PO's origins prior to being found and reborn restored by Anakin Skywalker on Tatooine. Y'know the one where Threepio and Artoo are sent out to get some kind of weird fruit for a cake but Threeps gets kidnapped while Artoo gets a free spa treatment?

Maybe this is a bit of a stretch, like the first two on this list, but the very last arc of the final season of The Clone Wars. Like you know what's going to happen. We've seen outcomes, the effects the initial cause has on the characters. But it's the entirety of how it plays out that reaches that point, from beginning to end.

Also kind of following along with #3 is how the entirety of The Bad Batch plays out in a freshly baked post-Clone Wars galaxy. Like yes, we have a summary of what's going to happen to these Clone Force 99 guys who are at the top of their game on the battlefield, etc. Again, it's all in the details of how it plays out, how each and every one of them choose their routes in foreign environments.

-ER. Hi there! :D Just popping in to say that I'm still around. I've recently acquired a new laptop as an early birthday present to me and here we are three weeks later! I'm still trying to set things up! It's very annoying and I'm dragging my feet with some of the other details BUT it's functional and faster than my other laptop and BOY is it different.

You know you've been out of the laptop loop for years when you find out that they've done away with fans and switched to digital... >_>;;;;

It's funny how time flies. This small update is just me saying I'm still kicking, I'm just going at a slower speed now because I messed up my lower back last Saturday/month. Who knew bending at the waist one too many times would feel like being cut in half?

I would recommend not growing older, but that is inevitable. If you haven't been doing the proper bending techniques or core strengthening exercises, I'd recommend doing those now to avoid future injuries. And take the medication if you really need it! Pain is awful.

So a small head's up: I'm taking Doodle Commissions!
