It's so funny how in the 95 Mortal Kombat movie the moment than Chan dies the Order of Light don't have a single other candidate ready to fight. Really? Unpopular opinion but im glad Cameron diaz never got to be sonya.
Outside of choreography what does she have to offer the character? Being hot? Being a sex pot model? Blue eyed American blonde girl? Yeah no.
Oh she can fight? Can she though? Can she? Can she outside of Hollywood? Nah. I dont believe that. She's the same as any actress who trained for fight scenes. Nothing special.
They picked her because of her status at the time and her looks. Not her acting skills. Because if that was the case. She'd not be boring on screen playing the same girl. Again and again. And again.
She doesn't really have to bite that sonya has. She'd water her down. I wouldn't take her seriously. I can't take her seriously as an actress. She's just not an actress for action films.
