this post case comes in from... myself. see, christmas is tomorrow, and i wanted to deliver a post specifically for christmas time. so, i went out and found a classic post. the iconic "Mistlefoe™" post. so, as is tradition, i shall catalogue my process in trackin' this post.
it all started with me seein' a screenshot of it on instagram. i knew right away i had to track this one down. so, i went to tumblr and checked the first blog. i knew this was the wrong blog right away when it was advertising high heels. so, i went back to the drawin' board. checkin' the second blog in the chain yielded results pretty quickly, and i grabbed the link.
here it is! a good ol' classic post! just in time for the holidays! so, from the P.P.I Offices of the Hellsite Detective, i'm wishin' you all a happy holiday!!
SOMEONE'S HALLS ARE GETTING DECKED
Post Case: Jolly
side note: @hellsite-hall-of-fame if you don't have this one already, i believe you should! it's an all time classic if you ask me!

Relationship chart between Missy and the other Toons! I can’t remember who made this chart (I gave my memory too much credit) so if someone knows who made this, that would be GREAT /gen
also yes I’m shipping Missy and Shrimpo. Their ship name is Mistlefoe.
Had to shove a second picture of Missy in the corner by a Dandy since he wasn’t on the board
This is not mine, I saw it on Facebook years ago and I don't even know if the blogs mentioned are the originators of the joke, so my apologies for not giving proper credit. BUT this is hands down one of my favorite Christmas jokes to see circulating every year. It absolutely kills me every time to see it!
Dec. 19, prompt: Mistletoe
Guys look, I can write fluff too, I think hero and villain deserve some pretty, Christmas fluff

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Hero was up and on their feet in an instant, barely even awake. Bare feet cold against wood floor. They glanced to the clock to see it was four a.m.
Four a.m? Why was hero out of bed again?
Then they heard movement coming from outside their door, and a slew of swearing and Hero nearly wanted to get back into bed.
Instead, they walked to the door that opened into their living room and leaned against the doorframe, watching the villain as they stumbled through their broken window.
“Good morning,” said hero, resisting the smile as villain jumped in fright, yelling “What the fuck!”
“My thoughts exactly,” hero mused, taking in the sight of villain. Santa hat, tinsel around their neck, a Christmas jumper and something in their hand Hero had yet to see.
Villain glanced at the shards of the window, then at the snow they had dragged in, before finally looking at hero.
“I’ll pay for the window,” they said. Villain was different. Not in a bad way, just in a- different way. When they stepped closer to hero, hero smelled why.
“Good night?” Hero asked, not fighting the smile on their face.
“Uh, yeah- supervillain decided to throw a Christmas party, and well… they’re loaded, so open bar.”
“I can see that.”
“You look great,” villain said. Then they stepped closer and Hero thought for sure they were going to fall so they put their arms out which villain took a hold of, smiling stupidly up at hero. “You’re so kind, hero. And generous.”
“Thank you villain-“
“No I mean it,” villain insisted. “Even to someone like me, you- you are my favourite person.”
Hero blushed, then remembered Villain was drunk. “Thank you villain.”
“You’re-“ villain hiccuped, “welcome.”
Then with strength that hero was very familiar with, villain pushed hero up against the wall next to their bedroom door, something mischievous in their eyes.
“I got you a present,” villain said, their eyes completely focused on hero now as they stared down at hero trapped between villain and the wall. Hero blinked up at villain.
“Oh yeah?” Hero asked when they remembered they could speak.
“Yeah,” villain replied. Then they lifted their hand above their head and hero looked up and laughed.
“Mistletoe?” Hero said with a laugh, but villain didn’t laugh. They were just watching hero’s lips the entire time, and hero stared at villain’s as well.
They were so close their breath mingled, the smell of rum off villain’s reminded them of when they first joined the hero positions. Villain and their rum, and their warmth and their intoxicating smell.
“You’re my Christmas list, Hero. Every year. I’ve been good long enough, stayed away from you. But we both know that’s not my style.”
“Villain-“
Whatever hero was going to say got swept up in a villain’s mouth on theirs. Hero could taste the rum, but they were getting drunk on Villain and villain alone. Villain took hero’s lip between their teeth, a sharp bite and hero gasped. Villain pressed in closer, tongue exploring Hero’s mouth and hero let them. There wasn’t a fight for dominance, villain made sure of that with a smirk as they pressed their pelvis into hero’s stomach, pining them completely.
Villain pulled back and hero drew in a sharp breath, looking up at Villain through their lashes.
“You never told me you were such a good kisser,” hero said, their chest rising and falling in time with Villain’s.
Villain smirked with a wink, “Told you it was a good present. Just wait til you see what I get you for New years.”
“Why wait?” Hero asked. Villain grinned leaning in again and hero could’ve screamed when Villain barely brushed their lips and pulled away. Villain stepped back then, tucking the mistletoe behind hero’s ear.
“Because I’m a villain,” villain said with their signature smirk. It seemed the kiss sobered them up and made hero drunk for one thing and one thing only- more of villain. “I have to leave you wanting more. Don’t think too much about me hero,” villain winked, walking back to the window and bending down.
They ducked a little sideways grabbing the window pane with both hands to stop from falling, and gasping when they got cut. Villain straightened then, going to hero’s door.
“I’ll remember your amazing exit,” hero teased and villain looked over their shoulder at hero with playful eyes.
“See you at New years. Save me a kiss.”
Hero had a kiss already reserved and waiting. They reached up and touched their lips, the taste of villain still on them and the smell of villain wrapped around their apartment.
Hero rested easy that night.
