Does Miserable Lie by the Smiths sound like such an asexual tune to anyone else? I was surprised when I googled and it was supposedly about something elseβI'd argue it was at least double layered or misinterpreted because there are so many lines in there which have irrefutably ace undertones.
There's also the fact that Morrissey's previously said that he's probably asexual, and he said it a long time ago, so it might pre-date the song too. I dunno man. Rock music has never done asexuality well.
