The last of her
Pairing:Â Sirius x Marlene Word count: 802 Summary: Theyâre loosing this war. Everyone knows it. One night, Sirius just wants to escape it all, and maybe Marlene could help him. Maybe she could just drag him down. Rating: K
London was dark tonight, clouds hanging low over the sleeping city. But Sirius wasnât asleep. He was sitting on the roof of his flat, watching the city. It seemed to slow down at night, seemed to breath slower. The late September air bit at his cheek. Two years ago, theyâd have been sitting here together, the four of them. They were young then, careless. Now, they were falling, helplessly. Fighting a losing battle.
Something moved behind him and Sirius flinched, turning on the spot. He was always prepared that at any moment someone would find him, creep up behind him without him hearing it. Then, as Marleneâs head peered up from the fire stairs, he drew a breath of relief. Maybe he shouldnât have, they hadnât ended things on great terms the last time they saw each other, but at this point anyone who didnât straight up want to kill him was to prefer over someone who did.Â
âHi.â He looked from her, to the ground. The small stone square was littered with cigarettes, most of them his, so when she reached him one, he naturally took it.Â
âHi.â She took a drag at the cigarette.Â
âHow did you knowâŚ?â
will you have forgotten it in the morning?

Pairing:Â James x Lily Word count: 648 Summary: James and Lily are the only ones left in the common room one night after a party, and James says more than he should have. Rating: K
Lily was on the sofa giggling hysterically. Everyone else had gone up to bed, but James had stayed around, because Lily was clearly in so state to take care of herself. Thatâs what friends did? Right? Sirius had rolled his exaggeratedly when he had said it, knowing as well as James did that âfriendsâ was no where in his equation.
âHey Lils.â He sat down next to her on the couch.
âMhm.â Not sure if she was falling asleep or just had tired of giggling, he continued talking. âHow drunk are you?â
âI am very very drunk.â She said each word with more force than the last one.
They had a good thing going. Heâd learnt to âbehave himselfâ as she had expressed it a sunny day down by the lake, and he hadnât thought about how his stomach filled with butterflies whenever she looked at him in almostâŚten minutes. He shouldnât do it. Should he?
âIf I say this now, will you have forgotten it in the morning? â
âProbably, Jamie.â
Why are you baking muffins at three in the morning?
Pairing: Ron x Hermione Word count: 668 Summary: Ron gets up at 3 in the morning, thinking the neighbors are drilling in the wall again, but it turns out to be something else entirely. Rating: K Read on: fanfiction.net
A/N: like about a month ago I wrote this romione piece, and this one has been finished since about then when @karkaroff got pissed of at my torturing of these poor babies, so this happened
Ron woke up to what sounded like someone drilling into a wall. He was gonna kill those bloody neighbours. He didnât care anymore that they were in their eighties or that they always invited them over for tea, or that the lady baked incredible cookies. This was the third time this week theyâd seemed it fit to put up shelves at three in the morning. Doing his best not to wake Hermione up, and resiting the urge to just bang a wall, any wall, he got out of bed and pulled his nigh-robe closer around him as he walked down the hallway.Â
The drilling had stopped and as he walked across the cold living room floor. The kitchen light was on. That was odd. Hermione was always careful to turn off all the lights before they went to bed. Then, he saw the shadow in the door opening.Â
âHermione?âÂ
She looked up from whatever she was doing over at the counter. There was flour on her cheeks and she sported a wide smile. Her eyes sparkled. âHi.â
âWhatâŚwhatâre you doing?â Ron looked around at the kitchen. The sink was filled with cups, bowls and what looked like a large torture device.
âIâm baking.â
âYouâre⌠itâs three am.â
