I am welcoming the new year by sharing my personal challenge for the year. every year I choose 12 books that I'm dying to read and make them a priority. do I always follow along? no. but, my, do I like to plan

these books have been crying out to me ever since I laid eyes upon them! some are friend recs, some are just titles that I've found intriguing barely knowing anything about the book, some I've been repeatedly telling myself I must read asap. and this shall be the year. as you can see, many are 2024 releases that I didn't get to in 2024 (so many books, so little time), and I don't have any 2025 releases. this is because this challenge, for me, is about reading books that I've been meaning to, and for a while, but haven't had the right chance yet. I make this chance happen.
