Blue, Assorted Headcanons
(Treating myself, cause I just finished a stressful speech presentation and am turning 21 on the 14th. These are in addition to the "Me in Diasomnia" headcanons. Feel free to add your own personal headcanons if you want.)
- Astrology signs: Libra sun, Leo moon, and Scorpio ascending (I asked @twistedwonderlandimagines for hers. equal exchange of info)
- Knitts scarves in between classes. Will enchant them to never lose a particular scent or radiate warmth and give them away as gifts. (Y’all know what your Christmas presents are now.)
- Her wings and ears are good indicators of her mood. A few examples:
Ears and wings droop when she’s feeling down or extremely sleepy.
Ears pin to her skull and wings shuffle when irate or pouty.
Ears perk up and wings rapidly flap when flushed.
- (insert student): *breaks a stale baguette* Wow, that made a nice snap!
Blue: Like breaking a neck.
Blue: Ok, yeah, that one was a little too dark. Sorry, hon.
- Will lend you notes from class if you missed a lesson, or fell asleep, either way.
- Despite being the closest ally of Diasomnia, Blue doesn’t personally know many people from Pomefiore. She didn’t have an opportunity to meet Rook or Epel until a game of capture the flag.
In this exercise, all seven dormitories had their own flag (which they could stash away or keep on a person). When time was up the dormitory in possession of the most flags would be declared the winner. Naturally, Diasomnia and Pomefiore made an agreement prior to the game promising not to target each other until after the others were dealt with. Of course, Malleus has never been foolish enough to leave himself in a vulnerable position, ally or not. Since Blue had become quite adept with illusion and concealment spells, she was ordered to infiltrate the Pomefiore team while in disguise and wait for further instructions.
It was..an experience. No one seemed concerned that another face had been added to the crowd, but somehow paid close enough attention to wipe mud from her clothes when she ignored it. Even Vil had stopped to fix her hair, twice. Midway through the game, she, Epel, and a few other students were tasked with retrieving flags from the other dorms. They were successful in capturing the Scarabia and Heartslabyul with little interference. On the way back to their base of operations, they met Rook, standing alone in the clearing. Epel was attempting to greet him, when the blond suddenly pulled out his wand and pointed it towards the group. He muttered a quick spell, sending Blue flying back from the group, landing with a hard ‘thud’. Epel was dumbfounded.
“Don’t look so torn up over her,” Rook called to his underclassman, “This vixen is not at all as she appears...aren’t you?”
Blue pushed herself up from the ground. She could hear Epel begin to argue with the hunter in defense, only to be shot down with proof of her deception. The white haired child cast her a wary glance.
She grunted, finally getting back on her feet. Hand ready at her wand hilt, “You know, I was just beginning to think no one would notice....”
“Too bad for you.” Rook looked towards Epel, “Take the flags back to the base camp. I’ll deal with this one myself.”
With that, the others continued onwards.
“Now that they’re out of the way, mind introducing yourself? I am awfully curious which dorm leader would have been clever enough to come up with this strategy....don’t get me wrong. I do have my suspicions.”
Blue considered revealing herself, after all she’d already been found out. But a tantalizing thought crossed her mind. A playful smile pulled at her lips. “Where’s the fun in that?”
Rook cocked an eyebrow, “Oh? Fun?”
“Mhm!” She hummed, “You just put me in the awkward position of returning empty handed. So entertaining me with a little game of chase wouldn’t be completely out of the question, don’t you agree? The rules are simple, if you can figure out who I am then you will find all of the answers you seek.”
His eyes narrowed, “That is an intriguing offer. However, I am not too thrilled with knowledge being the only reward. Especially when a I’m already sure of the answer. Might I make a suggestion?”
“You will owe me a single wish of my choosing. Anything I so desire-“
He chuckled, “‘Within reason’. Sound fair?”
“I see no problem with that. Very well then! If you can figure out who I am, then you may have a single wish.” She held her wand above, light falling around her from its tip, “Let the game begin!”
In flash of light she was gone. Not a trace of her left.
Rook slid his wand back into the pocket of his unform, a smug smirk plastered across his face. “And so it begins.”
- The game is still going on. Blue began using illusion spells on herself more often during the mock battles to test her adversary. Appearing as a man or women at any given time; she even managed to pull off a convincing imitation of Vil once. Rook has been able to see through her disguises, each time taking less and less time for him to spot her slip ups.
- It helps that they don’t run into each other on a regular basis...actually, Blue wasn’t even sure he knew her as anything more than “that blue fairy from Diasomnia.” Which is fair considering she only used to know him as “that guy with the bow and hat from Pomefiore.”
- Made the mistake of asking herself why she wanted to keep her and Rook’s game going for so long, after a close call with Divus nearly outing her as an illusionist (shuttup teach). The thrill of being “hunted” aside, Rook made an excellent intellectual adversary. His methods were clever, perhaps even a tad eccentric at times. The unpredictable nature kept Blue on her toes; kept her thinking. It was exciting! He was exciting......Wait....no..oh, no. Not again.
- Sienna opens her door to find Blue, standing there in her pjs with a quart of ice cream.
“What is it with you and Pomefiore dudes?”
“Honestly, I don’t know..”
- Other than the Diasomnia members, she’s become well acquainted with Azul and the Leech twins. Blue would probably enjoy hanging out with them, if only they’d stop trying to hire her as a waitress.
- Never misses Jamil’s comedy acts at the cafe. Mostly so she can watch everyone else writhe in agony from his spectacular puns.
