Just wanted to share these two frames from Mirror Magic, because I adore them for some reason :3

When I look at myself in the mirror,

I don’t recognize my own eyes.

I’m like the Doctor, I regenerate every time my heart breaks, but the memory never resets. The ache only grows stronger. Maybe it’s the curse of time, or simply the curse of being alive.

I want to meet my gaze- and find more than exhaustion. I want to see hope, curiosity, the longing to explore, love. I want to look at myself with warm, loving eyes… sometimes,

💫 what you’ll need

- 🪞 a mirror (any size — handheld, wall mirror, compact, whatever calls to you)

- 🕯️ white or pink candle

- 🌙 moon water or blessed water (or regular water you’ve charged with intention)

- 🌿 cleansing tool: sage, palo santo, incense, or sound (bell, singing bowl)

- 🧂 sea salt (optional, for extra purification)

- 💎 rose quartz or clear quartz (optional)

- 🌸 fresh flowers or dried herbs like lavender or rosemary (optional)

🌙 best timing

- **new moon** — for new beginnings and setting fresh intentions ✨

- **full moon** — for charging with maximum lunar power 🌕

- **fridays** — ruled by Venus, perfect for self-love and beauty magic 💕

- **sunrise** — for new day energy and clarity ☀️

- honestly though? whenever you feel called to do it is the *right* time 🦋

✨ the ritual ✨

step 1: cleanse the mirror 🌿

start by physically cleaning your mirror with water (add a pinch of salt if you want extra purification). while you clean, say:

“I cleanse this glass of all that’s passed, removing energies that did not last.”

then cleanse energetically with your smoke, sound, or by passing your hands over it while visualizing white light washing through it. 💨✨

step 2: create sacred space

light your candle and arrange any crystals, flowers, or herbs around your mirror. take three deep breaths and center yourself. you might want to cast a circle or simply state:

*“I create sacred space, protected and pure,*

*where only love and light endure.”* 🛡️💖

step 3: charge with moon water 🌙

dip your fingers in the moon water and trace symbols on the mirror that feel meaningful to you:

- ✨ a pentacle for protection

- 💕 a heart for self-love

- 🌙 crescents for lunar magic

- ♀️ the venus symbol for beauty and grace

- 👁️ an eye for spiritual sight

- or just swirls and spirals that feel right! 🌀

as you trace, visualize the mirror filling with shimmering, protective, loving light.

step 4: speak your blessing 🗣️✨

hold your hands over the mirror (or hold it if it’s small) and speak from your heart. here’s a blessing you can use or modify:

“Mirror, mirror, blessed be, reflect my truest self to me.”

*show me beauty, show me grace,*

*show me love within this face.*

*guard against the harmful gaze,*

*negative energy, jealous haze.*

*reflect back only what is true,*

“and help me see my soul shine through. by moon and star and candlelight,this mirror now is blessed and bright.”

*a portal to my higher self,*

*a tool for magic, love, and health.*

*with harm to none, this spell is done,*

*as i will it, it is begun.*

*blessed be this sacred glass,*

*may only loving energy pass.”* 🌟

step 5: seal the blessing 💫

breathe onto the mirror three times, visualizing your intention as glowing mist that settles into the glass. if you have a crystal, you can place it on or near the mirror. trace a pentacle or your preferred protective symbol in the air over the mirror one final time.

Step 6: first reflection 🪞 💕

look into your newly blessed mirror and smile at yourself. say:

“I am worthy of love. I am beautiful. I am magic.”

step 7: gratitude & closing 🙏

thank any energies, deities, or guides you work with. snuff out your candle (or let it burn safely) and know that your mirror is now a blessed tool. 💖

- **cleanse regularly** — monthly, or whenever it feels heavy (full moons are perfect) 🌕

- **recharge it** — leave it under moonlight, especially during full moons 🌙

- **protect it** — keep it covered when not in use if you want extra protection, or place crystals near it 💎

- **speak kindly** — remember, this is now a sacred tool. the words you speak near it matter ✨

- **re-bless as needed** — if it breaks or you feel it needs refreshing, repeat this ritual 🌿

🌙 The Mirror’s Kiss

Red lips bloom in the midnight sky,
