Sylvain won’t be the first to pull away— he never is. Affection from Felix is hard to come by, and he never passed up on an opportunity to receive it. He’ll wait until Felix is ready to draw back himself, and not a moment sooner.
from "hurt me back instead" by @skarmoree, for the @bluelionsbigbang event, which i had the very VERY great pleasure of getting to join in on and help illustrate! i've not participated in a fandom event like this one nor even really posted any fanart in many years, and this was about the best return i could have asked for - it's a genuinely fantastic fic, and my collaborators were a true delight to work with. my only regret is i didn't have longer to work with them (i was a late addition to the team after the first writer i was working with had to withdraw) - there were many more scenes that conjured up illustrations i wanted to do, but didn't have time for. as it is, this is 1/4 pieces of mine you can find in it, along with another piece by @starrryknight!
