I think the concept of internal comms should be used more often in fics, especially for smut situations.
Optimus trying to roleplay as a bad cop out loud but on comms he's constantly asking for reassurance that he's not going too far (Prowl doesn't even have the cuffs on yet, and he should find the conflicting moods annoying, but it's somehow endearing).
Megatron lying about his preferred position both out loud and internally, because he thinks that what he truly wants isn't dominating enough for The Leader Of The Decepticons.
Soundwave not even moving from his seat, not voicing a thing, but what he says on private comms is so filthy that Shockwave overloads into his closed panels, on the other side of the room.
Chromia had to remove Elita from the female Autobots orgies because Elita kept trying to turn those into training for their focus and that was kind of a turn-off after a long day. She can keep doing that during actual training though, that's a turn-on.
Jazz could have gotten information from Mirage on how to act like a believable scummy noble before spec ops sexy times, but it's a better test of his improvisation capabilities if that briefing happens silently during spec ops sexy times.
