With less than twenty-four hours left until we release the kraken (it might, possibly, maybe be about 400 pages of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, art, and interviews??), we wanted to let you know about another recurring feature in the zine: Stans Standing Up!
One may find oneself seeing fic tags centered around a specific supporting character and wondering, "...why?" For some characters in the show, their value to fans is only discernible to the well and truly initiated! Or the character might be appreciated, but their full value underappreciated.

"Okay, y'all, we absolutely NAILED this group costume!" Alya cheered when she entered the classroom and saw everyone in their costumes. "Cirque des Miracles was definitely the right idea! Props to Mari for upcycling and bedazzling this leotard." She did a spin, the thigh-length skirt of her orange trapeze artist costume fluttering.
Marinette grinned proudly and adjusted the small tophat attached to her headband. "I'm just glad I remembered to add the skirt. I didn't want you getting dress-coded." She heard Alix groan at the mention of what she called a "totally shitty patriarchal tool meant to shame women."
She made her way over and snapped a selfie with Alya before asking, "How are everyone else's costumes?"
Adrien was beaming and clearly enjoying himself in his circus ringmaster costume. It was elegant enough to get his father's begrudging approval... But then again, he had no clue what the hell Hazbin Hotel was. Rather than the snake and apple on the brim of his hat, there was a small bucket of popcorn and cotton candy made of craft foam, the jacket had golden epaulettes, and the color scheme was changed to black, red, and gold.
He gave his can a twirl and tapped it on the floor. "Be honest. Am I pulling this off?"
"You are, but..." Nino strided over to Alya and hooked an arm around her. "I think we get points for our couples' costume."
Marinette folded her arms and smirked. "Wait until Juleka and Rose show up. I put a little extra care into their costumes."
"I expect nothing less from my lovely assistant," Max jested with a bow and a tip of his top hat, from which he pulled out a small bouquet of roses he handed her. "Excellent work on the hidden pockets in the cape by the way-"
Kim slapped his hands over his ears. "Ah-ah-ah! Don't give away the magic!" The sunlight bounced off the gold sequins of his unitard.
Alix shook her head, but there was some fondness. "Thanks again for the leather paint rec, Marinette." She inspected the sleeve of her daredevil costume, an alteration to the iconic red, white, and blue jumpsuit with the pant legs coming up mid-thigh and the colors now black and green with a black belt, black choker, and no cape.
"Sabrina! Watch it!" They all heard and turned to see Chloé backing far away as Sabrina juggled knives. While they were fake, it was eerie knowing she could do so. She adjusted her yellow tutu and kept her eyes on the ginger, unblinking.
She caught all five knives in one hand and tucked them into her purple sash belt. "Sorry," she chirped. "But once you learn something, you just never wanna stop!"
Alix narrowed her eyes at Nathaniel. "Yeah, speaking of, you didn't actually need to learn how to breathe fire, Nath." The redhead shrugged and fixed the lapel of his navy-blue vest. The vest had white flames painted on it that almost appeared glowing, and was worn over a red dress shirt.
"I was bored; I couldn't think of anything to draw that day." He grinned and whipped out a baton. "If I can find the materials here, I can give a live demonstration outside." Everyone quickly made noises of protest, apart from Kim, who looked eager to see.
Miraculous - After “Ladybug”, Marinette escapes from Paris and moves to Orlando; Adrien and his friends manage to convince her to return; Chloé, Lila, Gabriel, and Nathalie reform.
Miraculous: The Video Game - Marinette constructs the Team Miraculous Headquarters, meeting Sublime, Diane, Aglaé, Irupé, and more.
Miraculous 2: New York - Team Miraculous flies to New York for French-American Friendship Week, meeting the United Heroez; Chloé and Zoé meet; Zoé moves to Paris with her sister.
