Neve, Rook, and a new recruit fight Venatori

They should have known it was too good to be true. The Shadows oldest enemies hadn't been wiped out during the siege.
Many of the Venatori had been killed the night the Veilguard and their allies retook Minrathous. They'd been tools for Elgar'nan, working for him because he promised them power. They never meant anything to the fallen Evanuris, but somehow the belief that they'd been on the right side persisted in the minds of a number of the few who had survived.
Lucanis had described them aptly when he called them cockroaches.
The cult's survivors now worked to try and undermine the changes Dorian sought to push through the Magisterium and in Tevinter society. Enough heirs of the old Magisters who stood to lose if slavery was outlawed and other changes were made were happy enough to secretly accept the support of the cult.
And that was how Rook found herself with Neve and a knew Shadow recruit named Desmond, deep in the undercity of Minrathous, dodging fireballs and demons after they'd interrupted a Venatori ritual.
Veilguard is so Disney. It doesn’t show any of the dark fantasy. Is so clean and hides all the tragedy we have come to expect from Dragon Age. Veilguard is so not a Dragon Age game.
I counted 86 bodies. In the Chantry. 86 souls rotting in the house of worship. Demons ripping through on the heels of a fragment of red lyrium weft into an artifact for the Venatori’s power. We are testing the waters of Neve’s personal quest. Aelia’s destruction is visible the first steps we take in Minrathous post Solas’ ritual.

It seems that in the alternative to the Voice of Minrathous, the Venatori, who seized power in the city if the player saved Treviso, were also supposed to speak through the loudspeaker in the Archon's Palace during the plot. Neither version is implemented in the game.
