Oh yeah okay! Well first off when I was researching I found that suggest putting on numbing gels and stuff beforehand, but apparently that's no good because from what I understand they may affect the process. Mainly I think for me the pain just ended up being ... more manageable than I expected, but I don't know why? Usually I'm not very good at dealing with pain but I got through both of my tattoos just fine. Like, it hurt, but I think the adrenaline got me through maybe?
im hoping this is the same for me too but knowing me i will die immediately just from looking at the needle
I think that tattoo pain chart is really quite accurate; I had a tattoo across my shoulder/arm area, and there was actually a really noticeable difference in pain between the bits marked yellow and the bits marked red on the chart. BODIES ARE WEIRD
i mean it makes sense, but im also looking for anything outside of just “location” that is ok to do wrt managing pain
HELLO! TODAY A STUDENT SAID I WAS COOL. I DONT BELIEVE HER BUT IT WAS NICE OF HER TO SAY
OH MAN BUT YOU ARE SO COOL THOUGH <3
Your fancy griffons are amazing! I was wondering if you've ever done a griffon design of a common/non-fancy pigeon?
Thank you! I have, but not to finish. They’re fun to do, so I sketch them a lot based off of pigeons and cats that I see walking to class

3 and 31 and 33?
[ask me things]
3: what random objects do you use to bookmark your books?
train tickets & receipts! or more accurately, ripped up strips of train tickets & receipts - i have taken to bookmarking extra pages to go back to later (and then seeing if i can remember why that page, which bit of that page, etc)
31: what is your opinion of socks? do you like wearing weird socks? do you sleep with socks? do you confine yourself to white sock hell? really, just talk about socks.
socks!!!! socks are v important to me. honestly i am always happy to receive funky socks as a present (size 7 feet, cough cough). the main thing is that i wear odd socks, mostly, exceptions only for long socks because i do like weird socks but socks of different lengths is Unacceptable. but also: no i do not sleep in socks???? no.
33: what's your fave pastry?
i am assuming this means sweet breakfast pastry because... that is what i know by pastry? so. either a chocolate twist or a maple & pecan plait. (although rn i am not feeling the sugar so much!)
helia i am finally caught up on evil you know. please make more stories about floyd
Do not worry, Floyd is a big part of the next chapter, since he is the only adult that can talk to strangers in a functional way within the friend circle.
aesthetic: a dark, bruised red, nearly purple. truths spoken softly. sleeping cats. magic, but a gentle, quiet, laughing kind. a searching, questing spirit.
oh my gosh?? this is. too nice <3
