(14 images, Part 1) – If you’ve been following my blog, by now you’ll know I have a fondness for small things. On Sunday 7/11, I visited MiniFest ’21 at Claremont to appreciate and celebrate an eclectic collection of many of Tasmania’s Mini’s. One of the smallest cars on the road, with dare I say, the biggest personality and passionate owners to match! I once owned and restored a green Leyland…

Hello everyone! This is a reminder that our collection is open for submissions until September 24, which means that you've got just over a month to get them in.

This is a perfect time to go and find your favourite Harry Potter drabble or microfic and record it, or a longer work if you're feeling in the mood! Additionally, if you know of any other collections of short HP-related works that we could feature for inspiration, please let us know.

All right all, here are some of the deets.

Creation/submission period: Monday 18 May - Sunday 28 June 2020 (6 weeks)

Works revealed: 1 July 2020

Work minimum: 500 words or equivalent art/craft

Work maximum: none 

And when I say equivalent art/craft, I mean literally anything that isn’t fic. Vid, podcast, meta, rec lists, traditional art, digital art, moodboards, icon sets, paper dolls, cosplay, action figure photo shoots, advertising/marketing display, jewelry, puppets, etc etc etc. 

Genre, rating, style, format, that’s entirely up to you. This is not anonymous, so please feel free to talk about what you’re doing, gather prompts and ideas, brainstorm with friends.

The only rules for this are:

Focus on Draco/Hermione.

Make one of them tall and one of them small.

Create something that gives us all the tol/smol feels.

New works only for the creation period, please, but once the works are revealed and everyone has reveled in the height difference glory, I will be opening the collection up to past works, so that you can add your favorites and have a handy-dandy set all in one place for future browsing fun.

As long as you have an AO3 account to post to the collection (and a place to host your own images/media for embedding if you go that route), you are good to go. If you don’t have an account, invitations are moving pretty fast these days, and I have several available myself to give out.

Your Wireless Festive Minifest mods

We are so excited about the Growing Neville MiniFest, to support Neville Longbottom, hero, cinnamon roll, all-over Gryffindor, get some much needed love! 

The theme is Growth, and we’re hoping that all fic and art can be centered around that. This can be interpreted however you’d like, i.e. Neville’s literal height growth, growth as a character, growth in confidence, growing plants, growth in the bedroom... 😉

It’s a self-posting fest, not exchange or anonymous. Min fic req is 300 words, and can be shared on A03 with the collection Growing Neville MiniFest, or here on tumblr by tagging @growing-neville ! Accepting art in any capacity!

If you don’t have a Tumblr, we will share the link here.
