#mini spells

Here are a few of my mini spells that I have, since I'm broom-closeted I've had to work around certain aspects of practices that I would have otherwise really liked to do. Hopefully these are useful to someone, you can adapt these however it suits you though they are pretty simple.

All you need for the following mini spells are paper, pen/pencil and in some cases tape (though it's not really needed either). It relies a lot on colour magick too but if you don't have coloured paper, coloured tape/pencils/pens are fine too. You also don't need a fresh piece of paper if it's not possible, scrap paper or torn off pieces are fine too. It's better to not waste and get the most out of our materials.

If paper things are also still way too risky for you, this is adaptable to your phone/laptop if that's more comfortable. Keep a widget on your main page and have the positive ones there over the time frame, for ones like the first spell, type everything out then delete that notes page.

To drive away negative feelings Put all your feelings, emotions and negative thoughts on to a piece of paper and visualise the paper taking away those thoughts/feelings from you as you hold it with two hands. Once you feel that it’s all gone, fold it or scrunch it up until you’re satisfied to keep those feelings/thoughts within the paper and throw it away immediately.

To draw in a better financial state On a green or yellow/gold (or whatever colour you associate with finances/money) piece of paper, write “Money is drawn to me, my finances are stable.” Fold it up and put it into your purse, wallet, safe, or anywhere you use to store/hold money.

For self-love Write your name on a small pink piece of paper, draw hearts around your name then fold it. Before taping it to keep it shut, draw a basic mini rose and put it between the tape and the open sides so that it faces up (like a makeshift wax stamp) then keep it safe with your things/in your room, near you or near your altar/other witchy items.

For success On a green (or whatever colour you associate with success) piece of paper, write your intention/situation that would like to be successful in, in the present tense. Such as, “My interview is going well, it is successful.” then fold it up and tape it down. Any tape will do, but if you have coloured/washi tape then you could use that too. The coloured tape will also do well if you don’t have any coloured paper.

Make 9 knots in string, each time stating wish/intention. Use as part of other spells or on own.
