Hong-Li shouldn't have been framed for a very long time.
Zaheer's spine should've broke when Kya slammed him to the ground, not amount of supposed water cushioning is going to save that... and besides, slamming onto water would've break your bones.
Both Aang and Kya are children of Aang and Katara, and you're telling me those two never taught their children how to fight? Even Aang knew how to fight despite being born to a pacifist nation, and no Katara wouldn't settle for letting her children not knowing how to fight.
