Here's something to consider that more of a Zelda theory than headcanon but oh well
Sonia and Rauru must have had a kid.
I mean, think about it. Sonia said to Zelda that they share a blood connection and King Rhoam was always on about how the power of the Goddess lies in Zelda alone.
Only other way this is possible is that Sonia had a brother or sister with some holy power that had children and that's technically how she's related to. Because we know Minerau didn't exactly live long enough after to have children.
So, since the evidence indicates that Rauru and Sonia had to have had a child kicking around at that point, WHY DON'T WE GET TO SEE THEM, NINTENDO?!
