Minecraft Survival Experience Log 1#
I found myself in a new world, filled with nothing but trees and no villages in sight. I stood up and began chopping wood to create sticks, a crafting table and some wood to make an axe, sword and a pickaxe. Those were all the things I needed for this journey and after creating them I took the crafting table and started walking.
While walking I slayer some animals, especially sheep since I needed their wool for a bed to sleep at when night comes. I didn't want to deal with any monsters at the moment as I knew I would die since they seem to be invincible in bedrock.
While walking I swam through many rivers, mined some coal and a few iron I found and killed more animals. I was searching for a village to live in yet I found none. Not a single one near at all, all there was was mountains upon mountains with a bunch of trees. It was all starting to get tiring honestly.
I realized night was coming in so I settled near a log with mushrooms growing in top. I placed my bed and furnace to cook some food while I was taking the mushroom for some stew. Eventually I finished cooking and making the stew so I went to sleep for the night.
I woke up, took my things and started walking again. I've been travelling for a few days now and still not a single village in sight except for a few ravines and small caves going God knows where. I was exhausted, sick of constantly swimming and walking around trying to find a village while the only thing you see are more and more trees.
I finally managed to see something in the distance. Open land, the end of whatever forest I was walking around in. I ran there immediately as open land is usually where villages spawn. To my disappointment there was none, but I knew I'd see one eventually. While walking around the open land I saw something that caught my attention.
A hill going up top with no trees it was open land and something more in the distance. It was starting to get late so I went there. What I saw was quite the beautiful sight. It was a land filled with sunflowers and some river fall from a top of a mountain. The sun flowers were looking at my way which surprised me as the view behind them that they were looking away from was even more beautiful. It was a paradise, a pink paradise. It was a small forest filled with cherry blossom trees.
Its land was filled with pink petals flowing and a few animals, some of them having flowers on their body and flower crowns. Not only that but it was also covered in some pink mist which made it hard to see what was beyond the forest or outside of it. I ran in that forest though, it was amazing and breathtaking. The animals didn't fear me at all and they were docile and peacefull.
The land was absolutely abundant. Petals were falling like snow, pink mist covering the sky and a fragrant smell. I felt like I could rest here for eternity. I then remembered that I was here to look for villages but to my luck just behind and beneath the forest was a village.
I couldn't see well because I was above and the mist was covering my vision but I could see some animals in pens and some houses. Strangely enough I couldn't seem to see villagers anywhere or a golem walking around and the animals seemed to be..... thin?
Unlike the paradise I was sitting in the village behind it had some strangely thin animals, but I was so breathtaken by the forest and happy that I finally found a village that I wasted no time attempting to get down from the forest to the village.
As I went down from the forest and saw more of the village my expression of pure happiness and excitement slowly turned into confusion to horror. Compared to the paradise it was next to, this village was horrifying. The first thing I noticed was that horrid smell fo rot, then I realized that it was all empty, the houses are all broken and rotting and the animals in the pen were malnourished. Some where even starting to decay like the villagers that used to live here.
The village was empty, it no longer had villagers and instead had monsters. They were all zombies now, their bodies rotting stuck in cobwebs or windows. It seems most of them died trying to escape whatever fate had befallen them. Their crops where dying too, all of them where rotten left unattended.
It seemed none was left here alive.
I eventually realized why those sunflowers where looking away. That paradise I saw wasn't any paradise after all, it was just a mask to hide the ugly stench and sight of the rotting village behind it.
