The Bar

The bar kitchen, where meals are prepared, usually done as additionally entertainment for guests. In the back left corner is a wash bin with dirty plates and cups stacked next to it. Behind the counter in the floor is a trapdoor to the root cellar.

Bar seating, as well as where Kellan makes drinks for guests. More dirty utensils lie scattered, as well as left payment. There's a hatch for a door behind the counter. Behind the counter is a ladder leading to the second floor. On a shelf beside the beer barrels are ingredients and spices for drinks.

The instrumentalist stage. On it lies a guitar and banjo, as well as two percussion crates. Atop one of the percussion crates is a flute.

A window example. It, as the others on the first floor, have oaken shutters on the inside. There are thin logs detailing the stone bricks beneath the window, as well as an oak plank window sill on the inside of the building.

The root cellar is used to store vegetables and meat, overall ingredients for the meals that Soul's Tavern serves. Crates hold vegetables in some slots of the cellar, and those are used for times when they are instantly needed, and the cook can't afford to wait for The Black and it's time limit on drawing from reserves. Meat, however, is more commonly Stored in the chests here, as often it is raw, and rare, so the tavern keepers don't want to risk someone breaking into the cellar and taking it. If they do try, they'll have to wait the allotted heartbeats depending on the tier of the reserve they're attempting to steal from, and that will give the cook and Kellan time to catch them.

The cellar has the crops of wheat, carrots, beetroot, and onions, as all of those are commonly naturally found and grown in the Plains Biome.

The walls of the rooms, as well as some inset into the ceiling, are stripped oak logs, as well as intricately carved designs into the walls of the inn rooms. These were all done by the local woodworker, who I have yet to name. But, the idea is he loves carving wood and crafting with it very much, and does whatever he can to get his carvings into every building in the village (which is made easier by the fact that the village Archivist already exalts him for his skill). Kellan didn't care for the detail and designs, calling them unneeded and a waste of time and money, but the woodworker convinced him with a simple statement of:

"Prettier rooms with delicate carvings mean more time for your guests to stay in the inn! And that means more money for you, doesn't it, friend? As you have them pay by every third hour they stay?"

"...Maybe you have a point."

"Oh, wonderful!"

Contrasting those lovely designs, though, Kellan was cheap with the actual interior of the inn rooms. Majority of them are rather small, and with simple white beds and curtains (if they even have windows). White dye is the most accessible color, so he can get it for pretty cheap. The lanterns are also made of copper, as opposed to the iron of the tavern's other lanterns. This is because copper is a pretty abundant resource too. So, again, he gets it for cheap.

7. Room 5: Two Beds, Windows, Dressers, and Chests. Made for two, and one of the more expensive rooms.

8. Room 6: Single Bed, Double Window, and Three Dressers. The most expensive room, as it is the largest Soul's Tavern has to offer.

9. A cleaning closet with a wash bin and empty barrel for trash, to later be burned outside. Behind the barrels is a shelf used to store other cleaning supplies like brushes and rags.

10. A rather small clerk's office, or perhaps even merely a discarded storage space. Here is where each inn guest is recorded in a book, as well as their payments due, and if those have been handled. This door is usually locked to guests.
