I just watched a youtube video that asked if it was possible to beat minecraft in superflat mode without any structures (no villages, no strongholds), and the answer was yes, only if you go against the spirit of the challenge by changing your world to an earlier version of the game that didn't have superflat mode whenever you got stuck. I'm sorry, but that's cheating. Why give yourself a challenge if you're just gonna subvert it? If it's not possible, then it's not possible, in which case it was an ill-conceived challenge from the start and you should have picked something else to do. I get that nobody wants to watch a video that's like "is it possible? No, sorry," but you can't legitimately claim to have beaten the game in superflat mode without structures if you have to leave superflat mode and turn back on structures. You failed the challenge. Sometimes when MythBusters would bust a myth they would then spend a few minutes at the end of the episode changing the parameters to see what it would take to recreate the expected results, but they wouldn't then turn around and say "well, in that case it's myth confirmed!" It's still busted.
