it felt like every couple of seconds she was checking her watch, as the night shift just dragged on and on without any end to it. when it was finally getting late enough that she could start closing up, that's when she heard the door chime. "sorry, the shop's closing in like ten minutes. feel free to browse until then, but won't be able to help you out much following that," she called out as she noticed the figure come through the door and linger around in the front of the store. / @empathiie

"are you alright? last i remember, things had started to get pretty crazy back home, wasn't sure if any of that chaos managed to find it's way here as well," mindy asked as she greeted the other girl. considering how much tara seemed to like amber, mindy assumed she must've been pretty okay, tara seemed like a good judge of character. "thank god you're okay, i've been worried sick running all over the place trying to find you," mindy exclaimed as she made her way over to her friend, already having her hands on her shoulder and trying to make sure there weren't any injuries that she missed.
