idk if this is unpopular but in my opinion the s2 and s3 mako mermaids were superior to the s1…. i liked lyla and nixie but idk i feel like they wrote them kinda dumb and naive. i liked that in s2 we got to see more mermaid spells and tricks that Ondina and Mimmi brought to the show. I also love Weilan. I do love Sirena and i wish we saw more of her and david once he found out she was a mermaid… i think it made sense for Nixie and Lyla to leave land because they weren’t really connected to the land but sirena was!! as much as she loved her sister I feel like she adjusted so well to land!! it also was cool for them to introduce weilan who unfortunately had to live on land but also knew a lot of mermaid spells
