not much of a specific storyline, more like listened to a song — clearly heard the boys.

at the first part dean is suffering by sam's incurable urge to run away. all that longing. he can't believe sam's with him again after stanford and it supposed to taste fantastic, inspite of dad's absence, maybe even thank to dad's absence, but there's a bitter of his inner sense that sam's unhappy. and it's not just grief for jess. there's something wider. the stingy thought that sam could really not belong here. to this fucked up life. to dean himself. and no matter what dean do it'll never be enough

the second part is a conflict, regular quarrel, another runaway and heartbreaking goodbye full of anger and anguish. dean's "you can't leave what we've started" against sam's "watch me".

he's tired of pressure, it's never been easy with dean. but again, it's not easy for him to go either. sam starts missing dean the moment he steps through the door. if dean can hardly remember his life without sam, sam's just never known his without dean. it's a rule and a paradox he's testing again and again — 'cause that's who he is, the tester — but the result was, is and always will be reunion with dean

and the third part is unstable open ending (which is obviously never ending for them). all that "maybe", all that "c'mon, let's just try". they can't live without each other so it's always better try again. they hold each other but it always was hard and seems like never was enough. and moreover, the far they go the more scars and traumas they get, the easier they fall apart, lose their trust, their will and sometimes even feel like a total strangers. but will they go to the very end with all of this? you know the answer
