I feel like Price would 100% prefer a spouse with autism vs. someone neurotypical. Like I could imagine that all the stress from military would make him really tired and exchausted when he's off from work, but coming back home to be met with a spouse who keeps up with their routines and specific schedules 24/7 would ground him down and let him relax a little from all the things around him. Or idk maybe I'm just projecting because I'm autistic myself lol

but yess omg i agree <3 i feel like price would be able to fall into whatever routine you make, whether it’s formed around his own or not. he’d love to just sit there and do his own work while listening to you pitter patter around the house, doing your own tasks in a comfortable quiet.
i feel like; with him, being in each other’s presence is enough. you two don’t have to talk much, it was like a silent language passed between the both of you— understand everything without having to do anything.
and as a (somewhat) clear headed man, at least when it comes to you, dealing with anything you needed him to wouldn’t even remotely be an issue. the amount of bullshit he deals with on a daily from grown ass people makes him desensitized, and when you were having your off days— he knew exactly how to act.
gosh and he’s a fast learner yk? so on top of ALL that, he’d be so in tune with you that you didn’t even NEED to tell him when you were close to your breaking point, or just overstimulated and wanted to get out. while he’s always learning; he taps into your flow very quickly. it’s also just… overall calming for him like you said !! someone who already knows what its like to need your quiet time and alone time !!
