There was a packet of three different Skittles types in hand, alongside Sour Patch Kids and Jujubes - he’d gone a bit crazy, after the time Mili had said she’d enjoyed any candy that was colourful, “You’re not busy, are you? I guess I should’ve asked - I’ve just been all thrown off since I have all this free time now, it’s basically against my nature. And I’m listening to myself talk right now and I can totally see why someone would wanna punch me in the face in this moment. Feel free to go to town, it’s open season.” @milimsamuels​

Icing caked haphazardly on Rosa’s face and clothes, she’d been concentrating particularly hard on getting the lettering just right for the birthday cake she’d been making for Mili. Hearing her door open, she’d forgotten that she’d told her sister to just walk right in when she got there, “What - no! How’s it - oh my god, it’s already noon,” Staring at her careful scrawl that read HAPPY BIR, Rosa frowned down at it before sighing dejectedly, turning the cake towards Mili, “I thought I had more time. “Hold still,” Gently grasping at Mili’s chin so that she’d stop squirming, Rosa rounded off the admittedly poorly painted snake on Mili’s cheek with a proud Tada! It’d taken an embarrassingly long time, considering the outcome, but Rosa thought herself a proper artist after watching Jude at work the other day, as if his talent had seeped through her skin just by being in his presence, “It’s cute. We’re matching! You wanna see?” she asked, holding up a handheld mirror towards Mili that sat unused at the face painting area. @milimsamuels​
