There's like an entire generation of people who just cannot fucking fathom that the experiences of others are DIFFERENT than theirs. They cannot grasp that you should be kind to people just because that is the right thing to do because it doesn't directly benefit them.

I think a good portion of that thinking applies to endos, radq, and transID people in general. Things have to be interesting and personally fun and beneficial for Them Specifically to matter. "X shouldn't exist because X isn't something I can enjoy engaging with."

That's the attitude they approach the world with. "How can I make this about me?" Is it possible for them to reap some kind of reward from this thing that doesn't belong to them? Sympathy, respect, and virtue- if they can twist words to put a spotlight on themselves, they will.

And they claim that this is the good thing to do. Like, by doing this, they are giving voices to these issues or whatever, but they AREN'T. They aren't advocating for them, they're demedicalizing them. They're increasing the harm done to justify their involvement. Once again, "X shouldn't exist because X isn't something I can enjoy engaging with." It has to exist on their terms, or else it isn't real. They cut it up and throw away the parts they don't like and tack on whatever the hell they can think of to make it Fun.

This is a game to them. That's why they think the argument "let people have fun" is a valid one. It's a GAME to them. It's FUN to them.

And a good portion of the community are victims of grooming. As a victim of grooming myself, I get it. It's an awful thing to have your entire perception of Everything so skewed because some fucking guy decided to fuck up your whole life. There are so many systems and queer folk out there set back by half a lifetime by grooming.

Puberty blockers was literally made to help kids who started their puberty too soon. It was made to be safe and reversible.

Hrt was made for cis people originally. Cis women can use both estrogen and testosterone to help with menopause. I don't know if cis men use estrogen like cis women would, but they can use testosterone to help once they get to a certain age.

Cis women have been getting breast reductions and breast augmentation for years. Cis men get hair transplants. I mean fuck, cis men get top surgery to deal with gynecomastia. The same top surgery I'll be getting hopefully in the future.
