GODS I need to hug herrrrrr ;^;

Gravity Falls taught us to never take things at face value and to always try to think outside the box.

Wander Over Yonder showed us the importance of hope, friendship, and understanding. As well as being kind and helping where we can.

Steven Universe taught us about self-actualization, and that change is beautiful, inevitable, and necessary for growth. As well as taking care of your own needs before others wants.

She-Ra showed us that anyone can and should fight for what's right and to never give up. With enough time and effort, you can do anything you put your mind to.

The fact that all of these concepts are seen as childish and impossible dreams by many means that our world is in more dire need of these messages and lessons than ever before.

Ever since I was little, I've loved to make people happy. For a while, I've lost that spark due to depression, trauma, and allowing life and negativity to drag me down. Even though it's rarely ever that cut and dry.

But I know what I want to do now.

I want to create a world where everyone can feel like they belong and can acknowledge that their life has purpose.

I want to create a world where people can find their happiness and purpose. Where no one has to concern themselves with being judged for such inconsequential things as race, gender, sexuality, class, and whatever else society has decided is equal to a persons worth.

These are important things that make us all who we are, but they in no way determine our worth... and I so desperately want people to see that.

So that's what I'm gonna do, and that's what Y-3K is meant to be.

A beacon of hope. A magical escape from the very trying and depressing world we live in. A world and graphic novel series that'll give people the motivation to leave this world just a bit better than when they entered it.

The meaning of your life is whatever you make it to be, and this is what I plan to do with my life.

If anyone at all is interested in helping me with this, please feel free to DM me! I'd love to hear others thoughts and opinions on this and other matters relating to it.

Everyone always complains about how awful humans can be, but I plan to show everyone how the exact opposite can be true as well.

People... People really are beautiful, y'know.

This might be a bit preachy, but fuck it. Unfollowing and blocking exists for a reason. Right now it's me-time.

Humans are perpetually beautiful things. Always changing, evolving... sometimes for the better, other times... not so much.

And yet each individual has a completely unique experience to another, simply due to a different combination of the same handful of things: memories, experiences, thoughts, feelings, physical/mental/emotional states, likes and dislikes, the list goes on!

So many of these things we unfortunately limit, not only for ourselves, but for those around us. Sometimes intentionally, sometimes out of habit, sometimes because it's "what's expected of us".

That's a sad reality of the human experience... But that doesn't mean there aren't happy or positive facts or realities about it.

An example I like to use is something like:

You can be having the worst day of your life, hating every aspect of it or everyone/everything in it. No hope for the future, whatever.

Then, out of nowhere, because you just so happened to keep looking for safe relief for a liiiittle bit longer, you find something.

It could be anything from a silly meme, to a line or two from some form of media, or even just the silent noises of the world around you.

It might not be amazing, it might not be the funniest, brightest, happiest, or most positive thing you could've found. But, in that moment? It's yours.

That moment you find it, it's gorgeous! Possibly flawed, broken, dirty, or abandoned in some way. But in that moment, it's yours, and it's beautiful! And it's just enough to keep you above water a little longer.

THAT'S what makes life beautiful! THAT'S what makes each moment of your life important!

No, not that exact experience, though it is quite common. But the fact that, at any moment, any kind of life altering experience like that can happen to you!

Yes, sometimes they're awful, painful, and/or sad. Yet sometimes, they can be bright, beautiful, and/or happy!

The longer we stay, the more we connect, the less we shut ourselves and each other out, the likelier it becomes that each of us can experience something amazing like what I described, or that we can have someone there or be there for someone who's experiencing something genuinely awful!

I personally never thought I'd live past 20, and each day I do, it feels like borrowed time. That I owe someone success for not making the most of each day, but that's far from the case. Couldn't be farther.

I experience emotions, intensely and frequently. I'm not ashamed of it. However you experience the world, you shouldn't be ashamed of it either.

Just live for you and those you care about, while keeping in mind empathy and patience for those not included. Or, simply put, love what you love and do what you do, just don't be a dick and allow yourself to be curious!

In the end, if we move forward with that, I think we'll all be alright.
