I've always loved miitopia I had the original on the 3ds (still do actually) and never defeated the darker lords final form then a few months back I picked up my siblings abandoned switch and decided to get the game again because all the new content looked awesome and I've gotten really invested in my oc run :3

I haven't touched that run in a while because I got onto a Breath of the Wild grind but I was thinking about it again and decided to actually draw out some of it like I had day dreamed about doing originally but never got around to doing. Especially now that Living the Dream is right around the corner I'm very excited for it (fun fact living the dream drops the anniversary of these ocs in particular)

I'm currently just post dark lord at the travellers hub but since I played through almost the whole game on 3ds I already have a pretty decent narrative mapped out in my head. It differs a little bit from the narrative in the game (you can probably tell from the art above I've changed my Dark Lords origin story a bit as well as giving my Great Sage some lore) but nothing that changes the narrative massively, if anything I think it makes the story more interesting :3

This is Stanford, the “Dark Scholar”. Basic gist is he is basically the original Dark Lord, being cursed by a book that contains all of the knowledge of mii faces and how they work. The ‘curse’ initially was just a simple protection spell against thieves when the book was first written, but since has corroded into… whatever this is.

So how does he cope with it? He make little creatures out of clay and uses his new skills to both study his own abilities and also because he doesn’t like to be lonely :( One of these creatures was a human who eventually became Seth/Scorpio and is basically his son
