Joining teach Kayleen's #mightyfitchallenge šŖšŗ ā¢ā¢ā¢ I believe that flexibility is also a strength. Flexibility will teach us to be patient. It's not an overnight thing. It's not instant. The more you struggle, the more you are close to your goal. š I remember what teach Kyla told me while she assisted my split on the floor, "shaking is good. don't panic. just breathe." Flexibility will help you in everyday life. Like, you can reach or get things without cracking your bones or muscles. HAHA. It may sound meh but it's true. I experience using my flexibility in various everyday life experience. And you'll silently thank your body for cooperating. Hence, there are still things my body has not yet allowed me to do. My back and shoulders are super tight. To the point that there are certain pole tricks and combos that I cannot do. #pdStarfish and #pdTwistedSkater to name a few. So...I will challenge myself - to be mighty fit this year. To learn everything slowly but prettily. Pole tricks are not just for photos. Why do we need to rush in learning the tricks just for photos? #trusttheprocess and embrace your journey in it. I remember what teach CD told me few years ago, "It's okay to learn a single trick as long as it's stable and pretty than learning so many tricks in one day and your body didn't remember anything." š Tagging my Polecats teachers: @kayleenortiz | @kylaortigas | @christina_dy and Pole sisters: @honeycordova | @reenaelaine | @meianne_ š»š»š» My flexibility inspirations: @mara_andres | @marioncrampe | @spinnyminnie š±š± #MightyFitChallenge #flexibility #PolecatsManila #FootworksDanceStudio #moveallways #flywithfootworks #poledance #pdSGripSuperman
