#midsommer

Today was Midsommer Festival, also known here as Sankt Hans. Every year people gather around the bonfire, decorated boats fill the harbor, and everyone waits for the fire to be lit later in the evening

Me and my mate were supposed to spend the evening on a large white sailboat with some barbecue before the bonfire. The boat left at 18:30, and he was asleep.., and when he finally woke up we only had ten minutes to get there. Sadly, we didn’t make it.

Instead, we went into town, got some ice cream, Red Bull and Cokes, walked around looking at the boats, and found a nice place to watch the bonfire from shore. Lots of ppl in the streets/kids playing and good food

Ended the evening with a small hike and a night swim before calling it a night. Not exactly the evening we had planned, but still a really good Midsommer Festival.
