OKAY, so uh, dogs are my special interest and since I posted yesterday that I want to draw the guys as dogs, I've been thinking of the breed choices for them NONSTOP.
I don't have all of them figured out, but trust, the rest'll come to me.
Here's what I have so far!
TKDB Pup ideas part 1
Though Alan's gsd kigurumi looks cute, his personality matches better with a Kangal Shepherd Dog.
They're a livestock guardian breed which means they're calm, reserved with strangers, they guide their herd/flock patiently and gently, but protect them FIERCELY if needed. Kangals have the strongest bite force of any dog and they're pure muscle. Quite big bois too. Sound like a strong guy we know?
German shepherds tend to have a more nervous, less independent nature and they're prone to anxiety, hence why I see Alan as a Kangal.
Sho is most definitely a White Swiss Shepherd. They're a super chill, but a hardworking breed that needs a strong leader (since they can be very stubborn). Way more confident and less anxious dogs than say the gsd, more relaxed and independent.
Super gentle too.
Diva. Fashion. Trendsetter. My choice for what breed Leo could be was OBVIOUS from the start. Chinese Cresteds (specifically the powderpuff type) are high maintenance, require regular grooming and bathing (lol Leo in the bathtub) and are very devoted to their close pack and family.
They're outgoing, -extremely- smart and their playful nature can get them what they want.
Lucas took me a second since I don't agree with his husky kigurumi. But it dawned on me; he'd definitely be a Gordon Setter.
A driven and sleek hunting breed that LOVES to serve their owner (princely knightly behaviour much), and though not an English breed, it's Scottish, so uh, close enough I guess.
They're confident and alert and very interested in their surroundings like our guy Luca.
No braincells, only chaos, smiles and fluff. I don't even need to open it further, Kaito just IS a Welsh Corgi (Pembroke, and specifically the red headed tricolor).
Another pbvious choice just for the sheer cool (heh) and looks. Jin is a Siberian Husky.
They don't really care about people they don't know, they can escape from ANYWHERE (like Jin's portal powers) and aren't really motivated by treats (or in Jin's case flattery). They do as they please.
Now, some parts of the husky personality doesn't really fit Jin, but I let it slide for sheer aesthetics. Like, huskys tend to be SUPER vocal, loud and vocal while Jin barely opens his mouth to smoke. But... Just look at that dog. It's him alright.
Another obvious one. If Romeo'd be a dog, he'd still represent his home country. He'd be an Italian Greyhound.
They were bred to hunt hare and thus have excellent speed and a keen eye like sighthounds do, but mainly they're a pampered companion breed known for their silky fur.
Nothing less expensive looking for our Romi. They're just as prissy as he is too, neither of them like to ruin their clothes/shoes/paws, lol.
Jiro would be like his brother; GIGANTIC, even as a dog. He'd tower over everyone as the Irish Wolfhound that hold the record for the tallest dog breed in the world. Kinda fitting for him since he's often called the Frankenstein's monster and the wolfhounds also look pretty striking.
But just like Jiro, the Irish Wolfhound has a calm, slow nature that loves their pack dearly (cough Yuri and MC cough). Buuut if need be, those jaws were indeed meant to hunt wolves and guard, and we know how Jiro isn't afraid to pull out his chainsaw.
Now the last one I have is a bit goofy. Just like his little brother, Zenji would be a gentle giant of a dog; the Great Dane.
Now, for both the Kirisaki brothers I'm not quite satisfied with the look of these choices. I actually think they'd both have a longer, more narrow snout if they were dogs, but the personalities and size just match so well.
And Great Danes? Goofy, loving, social dogs that despite their size are scared of even their own shadow, just like my beloved Zenji.

So yeah, this is what I do when I'm sick lol
