This is the Midnight Magic deck by artist Sara Richard.
last year I watched and anti-haul of decks and found one I immediately added to my list as soon as I saw a glimpse of it and I thought maybe tumblr would appreciate it too: it's called Midnight Magic and it's a tarot deck entirely comprised of different types of mushrooms
it's written and illustrated by Sarah Richard and I find it truly fascinating and gorgeous, I wish the guidebook was twice as long to hold even more information but, since every card has the scientific name of the mushroom as well, it's easy enough to look them up and learn more about them
the artwork in the dark background reminds me of velvet painting and adds so much whimsy to the designs without compromising the clear depiction of each mushroom
truly one of a kind and a firm example of how someone's anti-haul can be someone else's treasure
