I think we can all agree that her ex boyfriend is

Midnight Date is kind of weird for being a date that costs $69 I get that Lucien is trying and failing to push her away in it, but it’s still weird for him to call her ‘dummy’ in it. He usually uses ‘little fool’ or something more affectionate. It’s weird to see him use Victor’s word.
OMG!!! Lucien!😭😭 Please stop pushing me away!! Let me love you and don’t ever let me go! ❤
There’s a lot of mystery and so much feels around this man.....i predict that i will suffer.
There’s something about late night talks that just make conversations go DEEP both irl and in webtoons

Midnight Date
It was midnight when Danielle’s phone buzzed. Peeping one eye open she glances over to her bedside cabinet, upon where her phone lay, the screen now brightly lit up. A roll of her eyes and the quietest sigh later and Danielle struggles to sit up in her warm sheets, advancing for the only light source in the room. Only after blinking several times, due both to her blurry, night-time vision, and the fact that the phone’s light was too bright for that time of night, Danielle managed to make out the caller’s ID; James Walker.
Sudden, unexplainable excitement began to build up as she dials back the number. Ring, ring. Ring, ring. The receiver on the other end is picked up, followed by an all-too familiar American voice, “Dani?”
“Hey!” The tiredness was clear in her quiet whisper.
“I didn’t wake you up at all, did I?”
“No. Don’t worry.” Danielle released a hushed giggle in hope of convincing him. Needless to say, it failed.
“I can call when it’s more convenient?”
“No, it’s fine. Honestly. So long as it’s good news.”
“Good news about what?”
“The New York branch. Please don’t tell me that something’s happened.”
Silence holds for a few seconds as James pauses.
“James?”
“Yeah?”
“What’s happened?”
“Nothing. I just... I just wanted to call you. To speak to you. That’s all.”
At this, Danielle blushes furiously and was glad she was alone in a darkened room. Now it’s her turn to pause as she hunts around her brain for a suitable answer.
After a few seconds, James intervenes, “Is that alright, Dani?”
“Yes!” She quickly clears her throat. “I mean, yeah. That’s fine.”
Another chuckle, this time from James, and it makes Danielle’s heart fill with joy. They spend hours chatting and catching up, sharing jokes and heartfelt stories, and not once did they mention either of the shops. It was a novelty, but it was enjoyable, and when they both decide to end the call, Danielle could not care less that it was now half two in the morning. Instead, she snuggles back down into her covers, a twinkling beam spreading her features.
I just want someone who'll go out for food with me at one in the morning.
