i will and forever will be in the support of my fellow back people, pocs, immigrants, having rights to live in this country, my lgbtq+ community, having rights to abortions etc

my people and many others did not fight for 100 years + just to watch a man in toupee knock everything we fought for down

If minorities voting wasn't a threat, then why do you think they keep making it harder and harder for minorities to vote???

You CAN vote for the lesser of two evils and then take action against the lesser evil.

It's easier to square off with someone still abiding by the rules of the ring rather than someone who brought a nuke to a fist fight.

Trump has decided democracy is like Play-Doh—you just keep squishing it into whatever shape keeps you winning. Enter: mid-decade gerrymandering.

Traditionally, states redraw maps once a decade after the census. Trump’s like: “What if… we just don’t wait?” Because nothing says “respect for voters” like speed-running your own political cheat codes.

Texas is the test lab: chop up urban blue districts, glue them to sprawling red rural counties, and—ta-da!—five shiny new GOP-friendly seats.

MAGA loyalists? Ecstatic. They’re already measuring their new office curtains.

Swing-district Republicans? Sweating like they just saw their own political obituary.

Why? Because blue states are watching with a big ol’ “Oh, so we’re doing that now?” energy. California, New York, Illinois—they’ve got GOP-held seats they can make vanish faster than a bad tweet.

Oh, and Rep. Kevin Kiley is literally introducing a bill to ban mid-decade redistricting. Which is adorable, because the same party leadership telling him “unity” is also telling him “shhh, don’t say that out loud.”

The GOP’s House majority is 219–212. Even a few extra seats could lock in Trump’s grip. But if the pendulum swings back? Enjoy those boomerang maps, boys.
