1. Ted Lasso is Cassie's ex-husband and father of Harrison. He raised Harrison alone until Cassie got clean, and then after she got clean they tried to make it work but couldn't. Ted took the job at Richmond but left Harrison with Cassie, knowing she deserved the chance to raise him like he did. Their relationship as ex's is much better than Cassie's canonical one with Chad.

2. Samira gets a fellowship in sports medicine and gets an opportunity to perform study under one of the best sports medicine doctors in England who works for the team at richmond as part of an international program. She takes it both for the opportunity and to put distance between her mother and Robby. While she loves working for the doctor, she also bonds with Ted, who healthier style of leadership appeals to Samira after Robby's harsher style. Samira even thinks about staying in england permanently even though that would require redoing a portion of her residency, but Roy Kent's sister (who is an ED doctor) says she will help. Optional, but Samira could get together with Ted.

3. Ted's ex wife Michelle is a nurse (not a teacher like canon) and before or while Ted is in England she gets a job at PTMC. She becomes friends with everyone there and Henry becomes friends with Harrison.

4. Victoria gets an opportunity during her psychiatry residency to study in England under Dr. Sharon Fieldstone for a few months. She falls for one of the Richmond athletes, your choice.

5. Mel and Becca are Ted's Nieces, their mother being his sister who disconnected with the family after Ted's father died.

Ted and Michelle had just met each other in a parking lot outside of the Texas Roadhouse that Michelle worked at when Reverend Jacob pulled up and kidnapped them both

Michelle and Ted got married in the cult, their divorce requires absolutely no paperwork because they technically weren't legally married in the first place

Henry was born in the cult and is actually pretty well-adjusted after getting rescued for some inexplicable reason

After getting rescued from the cult (which was in an underground bunker in Kansas) Ted, Michelle, and Ted appear on a talk show in London and Ted decides to stay in Richmond to give Michelle the space she wants and wanders around until he finds an apartment and moves in with Beard (who he knows because he was his college roommate back before he got kidnapped), their landlady/local bartender is Mae

Beard has been trying to get parts in Shakespearean plays or any plays really for the past ten years, works at a local BDSM club

Rebecca is a local rich woman who is in the process of getting divorced from her absolute dickwad of a husband

Ted runs into Nora while he’s wandering around and looking for a job and Nora is like “you’re really fucking weird. It’s awesome” and brings him home and makes Rebecca hire him as her new nanny

Rebecca and Bex are both living at the same place because Bex just left Rupert, and Nora is staying with Rebecca because her mom is on a year-long stay in America for her job

So the kids at Rebecca’s house consist of Bex’s baby, Lydia, and Nora

Trent is a journalist that Rebecca brings to her party in the hopes she can get him to run a piece exposing the abuse her and Bex faced within their marriages to Rupert, Ted accidentally flirts with him the whole night and Trent leaves utterly confused but enamored

Ted starts taking some classes at the local community college so he can get a coaching degree and Nate is his study buddy

Beard has somehow dated almost all of the queer community of Richmond

Rebecca still owns AFC Richmond, all the players end up getting really attached to Ted because he occasionally comes to Nelson Road with Nora and Lydia
