The Colour Run is making a comeback!
After for about a year or so, The MICD Student Chapter has yet again organised
another Colour Run but this time, more upgraded. “Colour Run Version 4.0” will
be held at Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur. For this marathon, each participant will
have to pay a total of RM10 as the money will straight go to charity. The
registration will open on the 31st of July and the seats will be limited to only 200
participants. The colour run comprises two categories, Men’s Open and
Women’s Open which is for 18 years and above only. The ages below 18 must
be accompanied by a guardian for safety purposes. At end of the marathon, the
top ten finishers will be awarded a medal and a mystery prize. Come and join us
this September 18 and don’t miss out!

Turtles galore!
Lending A Helping Hand ^~^
The MICD Student Chapter has held an event on the 11th of January 2015 to
help out people who are suffering from serious flood situations in Kuala Karu,
Temerloh. The objective of this event is to help people in need to clean and re-
build their homes. Besides that, we had given out basic food and daily supplies
to victims. We had hoped to soothe and console them is they had felt down and
reassure them that everything will be alright.
Through this activity, it has also truly inspired us, The MICD Student Chapter as
well. We should appreciate what we have now and to never let go of the most
important things in life. Although it was very tiring but we are happy and felt
glad to have helped the victims. In the human society, we don’t need a reason
to help each other. It is a way of life. Seize the moment and start doing the right
things!

Sharing is caring!
Our members had gathered hands to those who are in need during this project
and hopefully we will be able to continue this in the near future! ^^
Christmas in December!
For the past two years, MICD Student Chapter has been participating in a
volunteer program called Christmas In December.
The goal of the program is to provide help to homeowners who lack of man
power and money to repair their broken down homes. More than over twenty
houses were selected in the Bukit Jalil area. On a Saturday, the club had
worked for over five hours, re-painting walls, fixing leakage, dusting cobwebs
and whatever that needs to be done.
Also, we had also worked with the elderly and handicapped families to repair
their homes. We were all divided into a few group to help get work done more
smoothly and faster. When one of the groups were done with their duty, they
had offer a helping hand to other groups. Together they displayed great bond
and strength. The MICD Student Chapter has accomplished a lot in this project
in a relatively short amount of time. Hopefully, more will come join us in the
future!
