hi hello!! i was wondering if you had any ezra headcanons (from tckas)? i just finished the book and i LOVED it.
yes yes yes i love ezra
he knows that ellery thinks that he's silly for always believing in sadie but in his mind if he can't believe in his mom then... who can he believe in?
he's a big fan of the great british bake off (he loves the juxtaposition of the intense bakes and the incredibly helpful contestants)
he used to watch reruns in california when he and ellery would wait up for sadie to come home
his grandmother teaches him to cook during his senior year and it makes him feel so powerful
he never has to resort to microwave mac & cheese again
he discovers a love for baking pretty soon after he learns to cook and he makes great pastries
he gets on really well with declan
i think he feels really responsible for ellery because she's always moody and he has to be sunny to make sure that she doesn't turn into the next sadie and declan knows what it's like to protect his sibling from things that they aren't ready to deal with
ellery never really bonds with her half siblings but ezra loves them
and they love him
he's such a doting uncle
he instills a love for rock music into his nephew and his half sister is jokingly annoyed about it
he grows his hair out again after a few months of living in echo ridge because he finally feels happy again
he actually reaches out to katrin after the dust settles and writes her a really long email about how he understands the pressure of wanting to make parents happy and he hopes that she is doing okay and that she eventually learns that she's her own person separate of who her father expected her to be
katrin actually responds and they become something similar to penpals
ezra doesn’t go to college
he works for an indie radio station in burlington
he always thought that he would move back to california but he loves vermont so much
and he gets to be near elleryÂ
he never talks about it but he has always been shaken by the death of his aunt -- just like ellery he can’t imagine being forced to live a life without his twin
he swears off romance while he tries to get his own radio station but the guy he works with in burlington wears elbow patch cardigans and is adorably terrified of rock music and ezra falls in love right on the spot
ez and mia stay best friends for their entire lives
they live together in burlington after college
Book Review #2
Review:Â Two Can Keep A Secret by Karen M. McManus
I’ll start off this review by saying that this book was one of the BEST mystery book I have ever read. Yes, its not a very long book but the story is great.
I got into Karen McManus’ books by reading One of Us is Lying and its sequel, One of Us is Next. Once I read those two I knew I had to read more of her books and so I decided on this one.Â
I absolutely adore the characters. Especially Ellery and Ezra Corcoran, Mia Kwon, and (This guy is my favorite) Malcolm Kelly. These are just a few of some really good characters in this book.
This book starts off with a mystery and ends in a very surprising plot twist. With all the suspense in this book, it took me less than a day to read it. I couldn’t put it down. The book captures your attention right at the start and leaves you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
The book has great diversity, character development, and suspenseful plot lines. I would give this book a five star rating and I highly recommend this book to lovers of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson. They are similar in a variety of ways from a town full of mysteries to a family shunned because of a family member being suspected of murder.Â
Read it! I adore this book.

ellery: we’ll get in, or die trying!
malcolm: no one’s dying
mia: not with that attitude

ooh can you do the perfect ending thing with the cousins and tckas characters?
milly
i feel like milly had a really good ending? i think that she really wanted her mother's love and approval and she totally got it, plus she got to learn about her family's history so she kind of got everything that she wanted.
jonah
i would love for jonah to have gotten a college scholarship. he just wanted to go tot college and his dad and anders had to ruin that for him. he and milly are adorable and i love how well he gets on with aubrey.
aubrey
i really, really wish archer had moved in with aubrey and her mom. aubrey needs someone in her corner, and her mom's great but archer kept clippings of aubrey's swim coverage because he was so proud of her and that's the energy aubrey needs in her life.
ellery
i feel like a perfect ending for el would be her truly not hearing what peter said. there's no way that ellery would find someone to tell the secret to, so it's just going to eat at her for the rest of her life. she's super protective of the people she loves so she'd never tell anyone else and have them suffer like has to now
malcolm
mal kind of already got the perfect ending? he's moving away from echo ridge, his brother is innocent and actually likes him now, and he's obviously going to date ellery.
ezra
i'd love to see ezra having a conversation with sadie. her addiction + the death of sarah influenced his life too, and it would be great for him to get some closure.
mia
like mal, i feel that mia's in a good place. maybe her parents could say they're proud of her? or at least stop putting pressure on her to be like daisy? but other than that she seems happy.
life’s uncertain and sometimes it’s strange chapter one
okay this is the fastest i’ve written the first chapter of a fic like... ever but here’s the crossover i considered writing here!! i actually had a lot of fun, and it jumps around so feel free to ask me questions about anything that doesn’t make sense
song title from The Sun Will Come Up, the Seasons Will Change by Nina Nesbitt
can you write malcom and ellery headcanons? from two can keep a secret? they are so underrated
sure! i adore them
Ellery is heartbroken when Malcolm and his mom move to Solsbury
she understands of course but that doesn't stop herself from driving to his tiny apartment every day after school to update him on life
she tries to turn everything into a mystery just to make Mal laugh, and it's adorable
Malcolm tries to take Ellery on romantic dates that always fail
they get rained on or their reservation was cancelled or they go to the wrong place or the movie at the drive in theatre was terrible or something
Malcolm thinks they're cursed but Ellery always just laughs
"well, I mean, the first time we were on a date we did almost die"
"very funny"
Ellery gets along with Declan extremely well and Malcolm is very intimidated
"it's one thing to have a brother that could pummel you. It's another to have a brother that could pummel you that's friends with your girlfriend who made true crime her religion"
"so what i'm hearing here Mal is you should never break my heart"
"Yeah, pretty much"
they go to the clown museum a lot more than is normal
Ellery is a really good baker, so they try out new recipes in her grandmother's kitchen
Malcolm offers to teach her to play drums and Ellery hates playing but she loves that he stands behind her to teach her and if she's exhausted she can lean back into him and he'll hold her
they aren't a really physical couple, but more often than not they can be found on Ellery's window seat, Ellery stretched out with a book and her legs in his lap
Malcolm is more excited than Ellery when she gets into college
they go to college on opposite coasts, and breakup during long distance (but unlike some other couple written by karen) they work it out
they have a home for foster kids
it's a point of pride
Ezra and Mia help run it
Ellery is a criminal defense attorney
Malcolm is a science teacher and a band teacher like mr. bowman, as a thank you for the way he changed Malcolm's life and tribute to the fact that he died too early
these two dorks are in love for every and Mal and Ellery couldn't be happier
