mha disability headcanons let's go 🧚
izuku is autistic & has chronic nociceptive pain, both undiagnosed because he thinks he has to push through the physical & mental pain/distress to be a hero. recovery girl suspects both, but izuku insists that he's fine every time someone brings it up. (self-indulgently, i think he should've been an amputee after the war…)
katsuki has chronic noise-induced hearing loss & tinnitus due to his quirk, which he manages with hearing aids. his hearing loss & how he was raised has also led to him developing social anxiety disorder. he also has intermittent explosive disorder with high frequency/low intensity outbursts due to his mother's abuse. also, due to the nitroglycerin in his body, he has tachycardia and POTS. when he debuts as a pro, he gets a dual-purpose service dog & religiously takes his meds.
shōto has corneal scarring and permanent vision loss in his left eye, along with his scar. because of the scarring, his left eye is more sensitive to light, dry, and easily irritated. he also gets headaches often, due to his right eye straining to compensate. none of these things were treated by endeavor, partially due to shōto being too scared to tell him about it, partially because treatment & recovery would take too long. shōto's also autistic, depressed, and has a dissociative disorder due to his general home life. (my self-indulgent hc is that he's malnourished, though it's not supported by canon 🥹)
