Like, I was totally hooked on the idea of Tabitha and Miranda somehow being connected. I was all-in on Jade's theory that it was fate/destiny that Tabitha would have to get stuck in Fromville if she was dreaming about it as a child. Like I was hooked on that so hard!

I was on board with Tabitha being a kind of chosen one which would explain how she's connected to Miranda and what Miranda experienced. I was all for that direction, like my eyes were glued to the screen.

So... I don't know... I was kinda expecting more than the past lives kinda direction? And I don't know if I'm missing the core message/theme of the show, but I don't know...

You want to tell me that all of that happened to those people - Boyd, Donna, Kenny, Sara, Victor - because Miranda and Christopher would have to keep being reincarnated to save the kids from the first time? Like, I'm all for destiny. I'm all for characters being fated to carry out something, but that just felt kinda hollow?

Like... that's it? It's a past lives thing? Okay... I guess...?

I would've liked it more if Tabitha and Jade were somehow connected to the family trees of Christopher and Miranda. That would've been cool. Or if because Julie can time travel/storywalk, something happened to connect Tabitha with Miranda in the past resulting in the dreams Tabitha had.

Like, y'all who are fans of the show, please feel free to explain what I'm not getting here. I enjoyed watching the show, like really! That finale just felt so anticlimactic.

It's all because two people couldn't stop the one mistake from happening? So... do Tabitha and Jade even have a purpose to their own life right now? Like, outside of coming to the town? Their one purpose is to finish something they couldn't in a past life so it has to continue over and over?
