Kikuhiko reached out and patted the boy on the head. He was not sure how the conversation had been struck up between the two of them, because he had always tried to present himself as antisocial in public, but just like any young man with an old man’s heart like he was, he had a soft spot for children.
“So you want to be a performer when you grow up. That’s a very good dream, to tell you the truth I was going to be a dancer before I hurt my leg.” In his free hand he was holding loosely onto a cane. He was smiling down fox like, but then that smile froze.
Kiku paused for a moment. He realized a moment too late, patting the head of a stranger, especially a child you did not know had to be awkward. Or even worse, he was acting like an old man again. He should do something else... he reached into his back pocket with his free hand. “Umm.. do you want a hard candy? I have peppermints.”
No, damnit. That’s exactly what an old man would do in this situation.

The city is so vast it’s almost intimidating but at the same time Subaru is excited to be able to explore somewhere new, besides if he views it as an adventure it makes being there seem a whole lot less scary.
He’s on one of these adventures when he spots one of the Yumenosaki first years, he knows the boy from the Basket Ball club, it’s exciting to see people he knows, but if he’s going to go and say hello he knows he needs to rein it in a little because Midori Takamine isn’t somebody who is going to appreciate being jumped on.
Instead Subaru sidles up and grins, “Hey, Takamin!” and then at a loss for what to say next, because he really only knows Midori through basketball and he has a habit of skipping out on anything social with the club adds; “What’re you doing here?”

He’d never encountered a pokemon before, and while some may confuse him as one, he still made no move to differentiate himself from the strange creatures in the festival that he’d managed to befriend. It was a strange looking deer [a stantler perhaps?] and it towered over the Homunculus.
Reaching out a hand to feed the pokemon some berries he’d found, he’d have a soft smile on his face, only to freeze up when the pokemon retreated from the location at the sound of footsteps. Ears twitching, Homura would turn to observe a stranger, waving a diminutive hand.
“You want. To join, too? Come, come! Enjoy festival! Make friends! So you’re. Not alone!”

There are a few times when Hanayo would carefully wander around to see if someone she knew had appeared in this city. It’s not like she wanted them to come here, but it was lonely not seeing people for such a long time. Sometimes she would wonder how much longer she would be here before going back home. Nobody had any answers to that question, though she hoped it would be sooner rather than later.
She spotted a boy that looked sort of familiar to her, at least he possibly was. He could have just been someone she saw walking by or this was something that she was entirely making up in her head. With her back over her shoulder, the little animal charm swung side to side as she walked over to him.
“...Hello! H...Have we met before? I’m sorry if we haven’t! I don’t want to assume anything!”

[1] Takamine, are you still up?
[2] I was wondering if…I could call? Or maybe come over?
[3] I had a…dream and I can’t take my mind off it. It’s nothing to worry about though, really!

♬ : Does your muse sing well? Regardless of whether they sing well or not, do they enjoy singing?
Heck no. Sal’s absolutely not a good singer at all. He’s a better dancer than singer. At most, he might be able to hum a tune or sing out noises, but he can’t sing songs with lyrics a bit. Mainly because he’s too forgetful to remember lyrics (unless he’s practiced way beyond his patience). He wishes he could, but he can’t. He’ll absolutely hum away when he’s alone though.
☼》 Oh no. Ohhhh no.
Oh no.
The red emergency sirens are flashing and sounding off in Chiaki’s mind as he took in the sight before him.
A.... a murder.
A defilement.
A bottle of ketchup, in his hand.
Ketchup itself, not on the food, but upon the face of Takamine’s beloved mascot stuffed toy.
Crap.
Crap.
Crapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrap.
Everything happened so fast, and he was too stunned to even move from his position. But a sudden sound from behind made him jump, and all the dread came washing over him as he turned, panicked, smiling hastily, and hiding the murder weapon behind him.
“T-Takamine! U-um--”
