There was lots of running around, searching or hiding from the ghosts (that I never even actually saw they were just around). Eventually everyone disappeared and I was the only one left with this guy, who was extremely attractive. We ended up kissing which was strange considering the stress of the situation and I started freaking out because I have a boyfriend (who wasnt in the dream at all). Long story short hot boy dies and I’m alone then whole thing started all over again. I wake up like wtf.

ok first of all i want to say that it isn’t unusual to have sex dreams with people who you aren’t partnered with/ even attracted to ..

the setting being unknown to you, being quite foreign and run down, and also mysterious could mean that your subconscious id is looking for something new. maybe some new creative inspiration. ‘this doesn’t mean that you are uninspired, rather that you are capable of mastering new ideas and skills. getting with the boy is shows that your id is pleasure seeking, and bc you survived while the boy did not shows that you are able to trust your ego to achieve the ends of id without sabotaging your superego. 

the spirits seem to be manifestations of general anxieties or insecurities, and act of blocks to your objectives in waking life, or as fears you wish to overcome.
