This was my favorite scene from Jumalanpelko, and I wanted to share it in case any of my mutuals haven’t discovered it yet!! I absolutely devoured this comic last night and it was amazing, please please please go read it!!!

I didn’t have a religious upbringing and I know that there is so much here that I don’t understand or can’t personally relate to, but one of the things that I enjoyed the most about Jumalanpelko is that the reader doesn’t need to have a religious background to become wildly attached to these characters. I went from despising Mesi to being absolutely devastated by her fate within a few hours. Such an amazing story, I love the art and the writing, but especially the humor mixed into such a dark narrative.
